I am lucky enough to have worked with and alongside some brilliant, supportive and highly effective therapists personally and in my career so I work with clients how I would like a therapist to work with me: approachable, supportive, empathic, human, non-shaming, kindly challenging and always with an eye on helping you achieve the results you want and helping to reduce psychological pain and negative symptoms.

I have Post Graduate Training in Contemporary Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Neurolinguistic Therapy, Gestalt, and Clinical Hypnotherapy. I have also trained at the Mindfulness Centre at Oxford University's Department of Psychiatry.

My Approach

I employ a variety of approaches to help clients overcome their hurdles and enjoy the kind of life they would prefer.

In truth a great deal of successful therapy can be put down to the relationship between client and therapist, as well as the "modality" and methods, and of course the experience and expertise of the therapist. Most importantly it is a collaborative alliance and with this I have seen truly wonderful changes in clients over the years - even when they felt great frustration and little hope.
